g'day all from the sunny gold coast in Australia.
Im a PC tech with too much to do and not enough time in this life to get it all done.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
i have run seti@home since i discovered it in 97 and i had my old p200 non mmx overclocked to 250mhz running seti@home Classic. i used to be very happy if i could get through a workunit in a week! Nowadays with these new fandangled processors with your dual core bits and fancy steppings with monster caches, i can get through a unit or even 2 in a day!
Anyway on the whole alien thing, obviously somthing is out there and anything i can do to help find it is good. as long as they're not the Gieger type of aliens :)
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
