Personal background
i'm a marketing representative for a beer co. and 34 years of age ,live in puerto rico , and love to play beach volleyball . I'm not exactly a science devoted person but i'm sure we have some neighbors out there, and is more likely that they found us first. i love nature and i'm amazed with what this "blue spot" on space has to offer.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) i beleive it exist , it's just a matter of time. Maybe they don't want to be seen , maybe they know us so well and have seen our development trhu the ages that is better to leave us alone. but i know we're not alone in the universe.
As with every discovery we have made the dangers are a 50/50 to every part as the benefits. I just hope that whatever we find teach us to be better.
2)Don't know much about that, if it isn't the best way to comunicate , there's got to be some . Maybe location , how we are .
3)For the same big sense of curiosity in each and every one of us, this is a great opportunity to help, even without the knowledge you guys have . There's got to be more people involved.
Use the media , go to schools teach the childrens about this project , they as you are now, are our future explorers. I learn about this on the discovery channel and even thou i live where the source of information is, not many people knows about it. You can use those kinds of networks to promote what you're doing . From my part , thank you for this opportunity and keep on ,this is great. ppr.
