Personal background
I first started participating in this project back in 2001. Well, you can see all of that on the profile.

Since then, I've had a bit of an off period, 2 years in fact. I have a lot of catching up to o, and as well as the seti project I also run some of the folding at home projects for cancer research
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I first ran SETI@home as a bit of a joke after spotting it in PCFormat. Since then it's become a bit of an obsession. I view the SETI project as one of the most fascinating projects into intersteller life, and its a sign that my options are always open, I'm always ready for the unknown. For me the chance to discover life outside Earth is fascinating.
