Profile: Gene Johnson

Personal background
I was born in Guatemala, I'm 21, and I live Portland, Oregon where I work as a barista. I love sci-fi, computers, and deep conversations. I basically believe in Buddhism and love science tremendously. I watch movies, read books, play PC games, scour the internet, and do that stuff Carl Sagan did that I guess is somewhat controversial.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that the discovery of extraterrestrial intelligence is highly likely. My belief is that where there is liquid water, there is life. Quite simply, water begs for, harbors, and invites any and all forms of life. It is very naive to believe that this crumb we call earth is the only place in the universe that liquid water would exist.
