I am (obviously) a geek or I wouldn't be here! heheheh
I am also a post-production and visual effects designer in San Francisco. I also do non-linear editing with Final Cut Pro and roto/matte work on Commotion.
As you can barely see in my attached profile photo, there is a Meade ETX 90 telescope next to me. I am an amateur astonomy buff, but as you can also see from the photo, I live in an extremely urban setting, so I rarely get to observe.

Yes, I think life does exisit out there and, mathemetically speaking, this is a reasonable way to spot it.
I started running SETI in 1999, but did not participate for a couple of years. Now that I see there is an OSX version of the program, I'm going to run it whenever I can (although, because I host a network, I will not use the screen saver). |
