Hmm, do I think ET's exists, I saw this in a movie called Contact, and strangely (At least to me it seems true.) It would be a waste of space if we are the only ones here. (Yeah I know it was not a direct quote.)
Who know we may find people like ourselves, or yellow poka doted slime, that wield unimaginable technology. Or we may meet a race less advanced than ourselves. Pros, we learn. Cons, the universe gets to know the human races, teh good, the bad, and teh out right uglyness of it.
