Personal background
Computer (hardware/software) Specialist. Enjoys winemaking as a hobby. Been into it for 3rd year now, and remain to enjoy learning more of it each day. Grapes is a fruit which I have much passionate in, along with strawberry, and peaches. Pear is another thing to be desired.
Camping is a definate leisure hobby. Camping in the tents on an island such as hatteras island, is a wonderful experience. Once a year, a week out on the OBX island is a thing of mine. Bunch of friends from different states come together on this particular island and live on it for a whole week. 4x4'ing on the beach, and going to the "peak" (that is for those who been to OBX, or residents over there, would know what it is. :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Neither to be seen that extraterrestrial life does exist. I used to believe that we (earth) are the beginning of a such wonderful civilization that expands and control all galaxies out there. Thus there are millions and millions of galaxies, but none of them exist any life forms, except ours. It is just virtual beginning that we are getting to.
Thus if they do exist, that they would have eventually made contact with us by now, because there would be eventually making mistakes that collides into our earth or either that we would discover them. Not that every civilization would be so 'perfect' that they would avoid in contact with us, would there?
