I'm a SysAdmin at the UC Berkeley School of Law. I got my undergrad in Political Science at Cal in '02 and I've worked here at Boalt for the last 5 years. It's a shame I don't install SETI on every computer throughout the law school ;)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
- Duh! Haven't you seen the X-Files?
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
- Of course. I'm sure ET would love to see an episode of "Survivor"
Why do you run SETI@home?
- Because my computer is idle a lot.
