| I am the sysadmin for the University of Oklahoma School of Meteorology. I am a meteorologist by education and a sysadmin by accident. I was born in 1960 and for as long as I can remember have had a love of weather and storms. For relaxation I enjoy fishing, reading science speculation and spending time with my two boys and their mom. I also am a member of a local community orchestra where I play the violin. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
It is hard to believe that we are the only ones in this large expanse that is the universe. I believe that we owe it to ourselves to seek and if possible discovery who may share this space. My joining the SETI@home is just my small part that allows me to take part in this search.
If, or I should say when we discover other life,I would love to discuss with a member of that extraterrestrial race their views on science and religion. And I would bring the towels. |
