Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I run SETI@home because of Carl Sagan's Cosmos. No, really! When I was boy growing up in Kansas, that series was a monumental introduction to the wonders of scientific exploration, both on the earth and in the stars. Running SETI@home on every spare computer I can find is a small way of contributing to exploration, and, hence, indirectly it's a tribute to Carl Sagan. |
