| Hi. I'm 21 and from scotland, Glasgow to be more precise. I I just Graduated from Strathclyde University with a degree in Computer Science so now I need to find a job. My hobbies include Watching TV, going Drinking with friends, playing guitar and, ocasionaly, playing paintball. Oh I'm also into the MMORPG Guild Wars My characters name is Adrick son of Balen. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think that there is no doubt that Extraterrestrial life exists. There are countles planets that can support life as we know it and it would be ridiculous to assume that this is the only one to spawn life. As for how it will be discovered I think that first contact will be made by radio so we are on the right track although we should be doing more than just listening. We should be shouting for attention as well. Since maths seems universal for inteligent life perhaps a string of prime numbers or some other non natural sequence should be trasmitted to get others attention. The reason I run SETI@home is because it is my only way to contribute to the search. There's a lot of sky to search through and we all need to do our bit. |
