| Im a very interested in the search for life on other planets. I hope that with the assistance of millions of other users we WILL find out one way or the other. I am 38 years old and I live in Milwaukee wisconsin but born in Pa. Some of my hobbies are (this) , computers NASCAR , my kids and wife , and life itself. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) YES , it does exists, but we may never make contact. If you think about the evolotion of this planet it took many of thousands of years for US to come up with the technolagies to do this search and the other planets have to be in the same time frame (light years apart) for us to recieve this signal. I hope im wrong because it would be an unbeleiveable finding. I beleive that with future technolagies we WILL have better resources to assist us. The technolagies that we may have might not even be radio waves, but something from the other end of the spectrum.The benifits of this may not be well received by us, the contact may be looking for a place of their own to inhabit.
2) I beleive that we should try anything that we can to try to make this happen. what we should send is PICTURES !. that is the language that everyone and anyone would understand. NOT text, or numbersthier technolagies might not even reconize them as an intelligent signal.
3)I run SETI because there is HOPE ! I also think that it is an excellant project to be involed in. My suggestion would be LET MORE PEOPLE know about this, I am........
