i'm 24 years old and a student of chemistry. i'm german and at the moment i working as a researcher at Sabanci University for one year. my favourite subjects are: organic chemistry, NMR-technologies (Nuclear Magentic Resonance), surface engineering, microbiology, physics and toxikology.
at the moment my main work is related with NMR-, FTIR- and Thermal-analysis. so i watch spinning nuclei every day!
my hobbies are surfing, snowboarding, rollerblading, biking, hiking, (offical)pyrotechics, martial arts, computers, chemistry, IRELAND and not to forget spending time with my BEST FRIENDS!

ALWAYS SEARCH FOR THE GOLD IN EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT MONEY!!!(thanx MIRI!!)
my idols are my best friend EDUARD Pircher, who knows what is important in life, and my supervisor and good friend ALPAY Taralp, with whom i search for gold every day at university! but gold is not golden anymore these days and we even find it sometimes!

yes, i think there IS extraterrestrial life! just look at the wonders of our planet: LIFE! high intelligent and less intelligent! i am sure, that this small place in space is the only place where life was formed, because life is formed of physics, chemistry and biology and these exist everywhere in space!maybe not as intelligent, but that makes no difference!
i think humans should be able to find E.I. in the next 10 years. because look at our technologies! they are increasing every day! a year ago nobody would believe, that you can give a view atoms a spin and watch them spinning under a electron microscope!!today we can and do!!!so there will be more new technologies which will make us able to have a closer look at space!
i think e.i. will be not dangerous, as long it is intelligent! there will be a way of living peaceful together! if it is not intelligent...maybe we'll have a problem, but then it can not reach our planet:)!
i think we should always send a signal in space, because if there is e.i. they are also looking for others! i think we should send our coordinates and a friendly message, which shows that we are looking for freedom! no data about our race and technologies! we don't have to show all our cards and the signal itself and the message of freedom shows, that our race is intelligent.
i run seti@home, because it is one of the greatest projects that i ever saw! millions of users of different countries and nationalities are joining a project and work all together! i think nobody wants to get famous and is working because of that with us! if yes...leave our group now! and it is all for the world's interest! if the different countries would work together like that more often, life could be much easier and nicer on our planet! NO WAR!
