Personal background
I'll start like David Copperfield and The Vampier Lestat, I was born. It was in Canada and in the fall. I have lived here for all my 27 years. I have a vast imagination, fuled by cult classic liturature like "I Robot" to the classical like "The Cantubury Tails." So it was only a natural evolution for me to turn my thought to the stars and what lay beyond. Seti@home has alowed me to participate in that search, and I am very happy to do so. But my original passion still remains archeology.

Oh ya, thats me on the right in the picture.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I think ET's are out there? Someone said it would be conseded for us to think of our selves as the only intelegence in the universe. I do however think for sure there is other living creatures out there. I think we only have to look as far as the moons of Jupiter to find life, but that would only be primitve life. For us to find a smart ET it will take time, persiverance, and a bit of luck. But we will find it.

I run stei@home because I have always wanted to help search for ET but I don't have the perseverance needed to become a radio telescope operater. So when I found out I could do it at home whithout a degree I jumped on the opertunity. But my cmputer is so slow that it takes about 120hs for one work unit :(
