I like seti at home. Its real cool. I feel like that gal in contact when I look at my screen saver.
ET life obiviously exists, and humans have already discovered it. I don't believe there are any dangers. If any life is found, I feel they will be far more advanced than us. As a matter of fact, who's to say that they're not observing us while making themselves undetectable as we speak?
I dont feel that humans need to transmit anything. I believe that life is energy and energy can be detected just as we can visually see light. If there are neighbors out there, and they happen to zip by our home, they will notice that earth will have a "life energy" radiation emmiting from it, which will make our existance to them obivious.
I run seti at home cause its what the cool people do. |
