Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes ET does exist and it would be naive to think in this huge galaxie that we be the only ones here. The benefits would be that they could technologically advance us by leaps and bounds and dangers would be that the visitors woudl have only conquest on there minds.
2. Yes we should, It should contain information about us and what we look like.
3. I think it's cool, I run it because it helps the program itself analyse a huge deal of info.
