I am a computer programmer, currently located in West Virginia. I generally work on custom database and imaging applications in Visual Basic, with the occasional web site to tie in with the system in question.
My largest hobby would have to be gaming, whether it be console games, PC games, pen & paper games, or card games. I also like to dabble in programming and to learn new things while doing so when I get a chance. In between it all, I play guitar on occasion, among other things. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I feel that there will always be potential advantages and drawbacks to anything dealing with an actual extraterrestrial contact, should it happen. Hopefully when and if contact is made, the advantages will vastly outweigh the drawbacks. With the seemingly limitless size of space itself and all the galaxies and universes within, it's hard for me to believe that we are, without a doubt, alone.
Here's to hoping the Seti@Home project puts us closer to finding the answers. |
