| I am a 30-something mother of 2 boys, a husband, 2 cats (with very distinctive CAT-titudes), and 4 fish. As if they don't keep me busy enough (sighs) I also work for the local Municipal Court as a Deputy Court Administrator. My hobbies include reading lots and lots of Sci-fi, some occasional Agatha Christie, and a pinch of fantasy, as well as computer tweeking.... i want it to run as fast as possible at all times. :) |

As for whether or not ET is out there... i certainly hope so! I hope we will find the truth of it during my lifetime.
One of the reasons I run SETI@home comes from when i was very little. Star Trek had just come on the TV and my dad and I watched it together. Turns out the man I married is as big a Star Trek fan as I am. We of course taught our children to love all Star Trek Series and movies.
Someone somewhere has said "If we are alone, it's an awful waste of space..." I tend to agree which is why I want to be around when we either find someone, or get found. |
