Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think there is exterrestrial life, and I believe that they walk among us now. We just don't know it. Also I don't think the general public really wants to know if ET's really exist.

Benifits? lots, if they can travel to our planet, just think of the technology we could gain from this. But would they be willing to share? Hmmm. Maybe not. I don't think they would share their technology with us, Humans are far to recklous to handle such advanced stuff. We figured out how to make an atomic bomb, and look what we did. destruction.

As for sending somthing into space? Yes, learning tools, books, some type of tablet with all spoken alphebets. Encyclopedias, dictionaries. And hehe, some comic books for entertainment... (Well you never know)

Alwalys been interested in the ET and watching a show called "The ScreenSavers" they mentioned the SETI program, and I though WOW! I have a big enough PC and a direct connection to the internet and my pc is always connected and running, why not let it do something when I'm not using it?
