Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yessssssssss...I certainly do think that extraterrestrial life exists. That fact will, I think, be proven in the next 20 to 30 years. It can only benifit humans to know that we are not alone in the universe.

A beacon transmitted from earth with info, such as was put on the recording aboard the Voyger spacecraft, contained in the transmission telling about life here on earth would be a very good idea.

I run SETI@home on my home computers because I feel it's something we all should do to do our part in the search for life out there which I know does exist. I think SETI@home is one of the most exciting projects I've ever been involved with. I got very excited about it when I first read about it in a Discovery mag article a little over 3 years ago.
