Personal background
I'm a computer science student at Madrid, Spain. Twenty years old going on twenty-one, what I love most is going out...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm almost sure extraterrestrial life exists... Although I'm not that convinced it does in the way 'we' all think of it... with those spaceships coming by to "visit". Benefits of finding it, if it's intelligent, many... learning another whole new way of life, culture, etc. Its dangers.. many... mostly, misunderstanding, possible hostilities from both parts [we have them between us, for differences in religion, race, culture... won't we have them with completely different living-beens?] "incomprension" (sorry...don't know the English word)... I do run SETI@home, and the thing I'm worried the most, is it takes me a lot more time than "others" to complete the work units, though I'm working on a Pentium IV 1,700... I'd like some advise on that...

Hmmm.... what beacon should we send...? Probably, what we've best... music... but how? It should be "self-playable", but also some sense-catching elements (smell, taste, SIGHT, and TOUCH).... And some attempts to get a communication (so 'they' can "send" a response back...)
