I have been using SETI@home on and off for almost 3 years. It is currently running on my tiny NT server (450Mhz PIII).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
If I didn't beleive in ET's then I would'nt be doing this. I hope it is found in my lifetime but the Universe is a big place (and getting bigger). I hope it will be all benefits, but sometimes as Human Beings we have a habit of messing good things up.
We should send a beacon, a got start would be hello we are here and we are curious.
I run SETI@home because I wan't to be a part of something great.
