Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think ET life exists. I have no idea when it will be discovered or if it already has been.
I think the transmission of a beacon is irrelevant. We have made no effort to hide our existence.
SETI@home is addicting - and a great friendly competition between myself and my fellow computer geeks. Most of all, it was a charitable way to make use of otherwise idle CPU cycles.
