I am 27-year-old girl from Germany. These days I am taking evening classes to lead my career into a new direction: multimedia programming.
My spare leisure time is filled with computing/internet, music, science fiction and last but not least my family and friends.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I do believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life on other planets (there are so many of them :-))
Besides, I think we represent it in ourselves ... million years ago matter carrying organic material collided ...
Mankind has achieved incredible things of scientific and technical knowledge during the last centuries, but still there are hunger, diseases, racism and war spread all over our Earth.
So how can we "invite" someone? Why should someone put himself in such danger?
No, I am not that 100 % pessimistic. That's why I am running SETI on my computer.
