Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It is statistically impossible that there isn't any Extra Terrestial Intelligence, considering the fact of those billions and billions of stars and therefor planets.

The only question that remains is in which forms is there life?

I guess all kinds of forms, even forms that are similar to our kind of life.

I don't know whoever had the arrogance to think that his kind is the only kind in the universe, I don't understand the reason for thinking that.

Although I am convinced that there's life "out there" I am also pretty sure that we will never meet any "ET" because of "too far away" reasons. Communicating on the other hand is a possibility but not necessary at all. I don't think Startrek is a possibility, although I can imagine people travellig so fast that time is becoming slower and slower (what IS time actually?).

I ask everybody to use the SETI-Screensave because the lifetime of a PC is so much longer than you'll use it, it doesn't matter if it's on 24 hours a day, it'll run for at least two years without problems and then you'll buy a new one so don't worry!

Best regards,
