I'm a 18 years old guy from Germany. I'm currently working as an administrative in a CallCenter.
My hobbys...oh dear.... Anime's, computing and hanging around with friends or alone. In my town there aren't many things a guy like me could do, so i'm often just sitting in front of my computer and try to do something interesting like playing games, programming my website (i don't think that i'll finish it the next few months -.- ) or only downloading and chatting with people that have the similar interests like me.
Hmmm.... i think there isn't really any intresting about me. |

Damn, no easy questions... sure, i think that there is an other extraterrestrial life exist, but i think too, that it is as good as impossible to find it. When there is really another intelligent lifeform, they are for sure mor intelligent than the humans and won't let them find so easily.
A beacon with information? A great idea. I think too that we should warn the other lifeforms how stupid the humans are. Perhaps we should send a friendly request to help us with our problems (nature, oil, etc.) with it.
I run Seti@home because of 2 reasons:
1st, i want to help with my computer. I think that there are many people like me, that don't use all the prozessor-power all the time and can spend it to Seti.
2nd it's like a tournament. It were cool if i would be able to reach a high postition in the ranking lists. I know that it's impossible to reach a high rank ( like Top 200) because there are people who are longer working on this than me. And for sure there are people with huge mainframes oder other super-computer, perhaps many cluster-systems too, that have unlimited more power than my 2 pc's (Like SUN or HP).
But i think that there is still a place for me in the upper end of the ranking list (hmm...i'm really a fool to think something like this -.- ). |
