There is definately extraterrestrial life - without a doubt. Whether or not it is even close to our type or level of life and intelligence is questionable, but look at the stars. Each one of those stars is a sun and around of many of those suns are planets just like ours. It's mind boggling when you think of it. Humankind is in its infancy in the grand scheme of things. It would not only be presumptuous but naiive and illogical to think that we're the only living things in this utterly immense universe of which our solar system and galaxy is just a mere speck.
Many thanks to the Seti@Home team for their dedication, commitment, and zeal to this project. I hope we find something in my lifetime...
