Special Philosophy: spiritual nature of existence is the most important issue; in 1976 I had the pleasure of having lunch with Dr. Carl Sagan and our conversation concentrated more on spiritual questions since Dr. Sagan had a keen sense that extraterrestrial life and spirit could quite possibly be one and the same thing! This helped me formulate later on in my teaching career that the theory of evolution, instead of being the evil anti-God concept that most of the religiuos world believes it to be, is really THE FINGER OF GOD! I believe the greatest evil is that the world believes that evolution is evil!
