Profile: Richard K Dzedzej

Personal background
I am a 39 year old with 6 kids and 5 grandkids. My wife and I love sailing and traveling. I believe that a large portion of todays science fiction is tommorrows science fact. IBM was made the first Star Trek transporter a reality. They beamed a particle of cesium from one spot to another, granted it was only for a few milisec's but thats a long time for science.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It would be wrong to assume we are alone. It would also be wrong to assume that when we find life elsewhere, that it will be friendly. I hope that it is but we should keep an open mind.
