Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I thought that this was an interesting project for distributed computing.
I have an AMD 1800XP on a NForce motherboard with 512MB of DDR memory. I thought that my computer would be suited for this interesting astronomy project. I also own Starry Night Backyard and it is fun to see where in the sky the SETI data I am processing is located at.
