| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) To believe that in this entire universe that we are the only one's in the playground is ridiculous. I think public disclosure will occur by accident due to an ET related incident out of their control. Benefits - acceleration of technology for space travel and possibly time travel ( we don't know which are being utilized on their part ). The only danger being, who discovers them and the reaction to the discovery.
2) I would say no to the beacon, already too many radio waves being emmanated which may create a confusing message of its own.
3) To participate in the scanning of the received data in search of ETL is knowing that I have made a personal attempt toward that discovery. The project when it succeeds will open a new door and chapter in our own future.
