I have no idea whether ET exists. I just don't want to be arrogant and think we are the only smart creation. In a probability distribution, there should be as many beings smarter than us as there are dumber. Come to think of it, that statement is optimistic. Manikind in the world of 2002 seems hellbent on proving that anything ET can do, we can do dumber.
SETI? Best competition in the world, for us neurotic compulsives. We can enquire or we can be ostriches. |
