Hi
My name is Martin (nick: matschko)
Born on a gray october evening anno domini 1973 and living in bavaria/germany (you know, BMW, Wuerstel and Oktoberfest etc.)
My occupation? Chemic-technical Assistent I think it is called in english (or isn't it?).
My spare time I spend mostly at the computer, in books and in many pubs looking for "mister right" (boring isn't it?) ;-)

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Do I think extraterrestrial life exists? Is there a noise if the tree falls? I think yes. But when and how will we discover it? Not in my lifetime and propably never.
2. Send it or send it not. I think we or the recepients of such beacons would like to know if there is other life, but I thin neither coul do something about it (speed of light MEANING something)
3. There is no special reason for me to run seti, but then, there is no reason not to. |
