Personal background
As you may notice I am an inventive sort of bloke with varied interests and yes I am a computer geek, =P. I have a main PC called ionize, which is an 1.421162107GHz AMD Athlon XP with 512 MB DDR RAM running FreeBSD 4.9, Mandrake 9.0 and Microsoft Windows XP Pro. My other PC is not called anything and is an ancient Intel Pentium 233Mhz thing also running OpenBSD 3.2 :) with minimum installation and I used to use it for networking development.

Starting from 21/10/2002 my life with SETI will be stopped temporary since i want to focus on Folding@Home project.

but,I still run SETI at my old PC, ^_^
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
First when i read the distributed computing, the concept and idea is very clear and excellent. Then, i try to surfing the Net and found many distributed computing project that are currently hosted by university, non-profit organization and etc. After read all the objective for each project, i like the idea behind the SETI projects. From that point, i downloaded the client software and run it. Then, my life with SETI started, =P.

People around me always ask me is it extraterrestrial life exists? My answer always yes since my religion belief that we share this universe with other form of life, that we can't see with our normal eyes. ^_^
