Hey my name is Ryan Hendricks, I am from sunny Naples, Florida. I am 15 years old and in high school. For an occupation I build computers for friends and family members and I hope to open a computer building business when Im older. My hobbies are computers and hockey. This summer I am planning to build my own Seti@Home Farm.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that extraterrestrial life exists. I believe this simply because I dont find it likely that in the virtually infinate size of the universe that there would be only one planet capable of supporting life. I also think that in the near future with the growing technology contact will be made with extraterrestrial beings. We as humans should transmit a beacon for others to find. It should tell them about us and how to contact us. I run Seti@Home because I want to help solve the question the has plagued man-kind for centuries: "Are we alone in this universe?".
