My name is Serguei and I live in Toronto, Canada. Astronomy is one of my hobbies so I have signed up for SETI@home as soon as I found out about it.
I have a scientific background, so I am inclined to help in any scientific endeavour. My other hobbies include camping (I love seeing the stars), music (I play two instruments), writing (when I can), learning about different cultures (Canada provides me with a perfect environment).

| I am very sceptical about the possibility of extraterrestrial intelligence. I tend to agree with people like Stephen Hawking who think that the probability of intelligent life forms sharing the Universe with us AT THE SAME TIME is pretty low. However, I think that we owe it to ourselves to try and locate ETI's anyway. It never hurts to listen, we might just find something interesting. |
