Who actually reads these? Anyway, I'm an Aussie living in France. I've been here since May 1997, and my husband is French. We have a son, Tirian, who is turning into a geek, and loves Star Wars, computers and playing Diablo 2. I'm trying to get my husband interested in EVE, but he's being sucky, and sticking with his traditional rpg's.
We have a cat, Aravis, who has a tendency to sit on my monitor, and then slide off onto my keyboard when her fat arse gets to be a bit too much.
I am obsessed with Iceland, Icelandic music, language, culture, anything. I am CCP's number one groupie, and will often be found to be blabbing about a band called Sigur Rós.
People say I like talking about myself too much, but it's the easiest topic I know of... no real need for thinking, and that suits me fine.
I'm an amature photographer, and have been since 1995. I used to work exclusively in black and white, but have recently branched into colour.
I'm a University student, studying by correspondence with the Open University in the UK. If all goes to plan at the end of 2003, I will have a BSc (Hons) Tech. majoring in Telecommunications and Industrial Design. It bores the crap out of me, and I can't wait to finish, so I can then go to La Sorbonne in Paris and do a degree in Icelandic. Something to quench my obsession a wee bit.
