Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I Think ETL's exist and we may discover that as a face-to-face meeting or as a different molecule on a piece of space debris. It may occur today or a thousand years from now, assuming we are still here then. The benefits and dangers are unforeseeable. We can plan to overcome some of the dangers, but there's still that one thing we didn't or couldn't plan for. The benefits are vast and still being discovered.

Should we transmit info?? Should SAH be looking for info from "out there"? I guess if we expect to hear from them, maybe we should also try to contact them.
I guess that's why I like SETI, at least, we are trying.
