Profile: Lamer Alive

Personal background
I'm 19 years old guy, livin' in the South-West of Germany. Most of my spare time I'm sittin in front of the screen, but I'm also very sporty (Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Weightlifting). I like cars, such as American Muscle(Ford Mustang) but also BMW, like the one my parents are owners of 528i, Porsche 964 and the Fiat Coupé.
At the moment I'm an Student attending an IT school called (Technisches Gymnasium Elektronik /Maschinenbau). After those 13 years of agony that I'll have passed in June, I have to do 10 month of social work for the state :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there is somewhere "other" life. But that has absolutely nothing to do with the question: "Can we find a signal or "THE Signal" with Seti?" If we're all honest, SETI has nice diagramms etc. But Seti is testing about 20 times a day their software and their hardware in order to have the complete system stabile running without any errors. And those gonna be 20 Signals each day, that look like a real signal to us. Refrained from that fact, we have also to see the point, that there are old radio waves containing radio material from 20 years ago in our athmosphere. That are going to be sent to us...
The only thing, why i am running seti is, i want to test the performance of my new PC-System!
