I am a married, 39(almost) year old Electrical Engineer working in the Space Program in Washington DC. I have flown backseat for NASA on an environmental research platform, designed sensors for the LANDSAT program, worked on SDI systems, microsatellites, and several other orbital platforms.
I am interested in all aspects of space exploration and travel, as well as music, travel, and mythology. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I strongly believe in the probability of abundant extraterestrial life. I am not certain that we are likely to find out about such life until we ourselves advance technologically to a point where our explorations (actual travel of manned or unmanned probes) will allow extrasolar ventures. I sure would like to be wrong about this last point, though, so here I am. We need to send out word of our existence in every way possible, to increase our chances of sooner contact. |
