| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| As I watch the night sky in Central Iowa, I wonder, "Are we alone?" I like to think there is life out there, but I'm not so sure I'd like to meet them. We're just as likely to meet up with the real world equivalent of Star Trek's Romulans or Cardasians as we are the real world equivalent of 'ET'. I think the Seti@home project, passively monitoring the skies, is the best way to find out. |
