Personal background
I'm from Vallejo, California (where I currently reside) and I work in the IT field. I work full time as a workware engineer at Bank of America and I also own my own business. I'm married with two kids and enjoy life as much as I can (when work isn't in the way).

Things that I like to do include playing with RC car's, Lego's, night times with my wife :), playing with the kids and getting out and trying to have a good time.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that it's valid to think that life does exist elsewhere. I think that if we ignore that possibility then it shows how little the human intellect has evolved over the last 100 years. As for transmitting out to space I don't think that it's that great of an idea right now. Our civilization hasn't yet survived itself let alone another possible species trying to interact with it. We need to build more as a society, explore space and get a better grip on everything before we present ourselves to other potential races.

I run seti@home because I think that an idle CPU is a waste of cycles and it's a fundamentally good idea as a project.
