Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1 - Yes, ETI does exist, If not its a big waste of space! We will probably be discovered. Benefits, Info echange. Dangers: Slave world, Deteriation of organized religion.

2- Yepper, we should send all kinds of beacons, variety of formats, send math or music (Ez to recognize, with no bias)

3- I run SETI@home to make positive use of otherwise unused resource. I think the project is pointed in the right direction (lol). I suggest a little more feedback to the home users. (e.g. what was the result of a suspect signal [trip or pulse etc.]), would be neato if I saw a reply 'that hit was a satelite!'
