I'm an artist working in the Amish countryside of Lancater County PA. I enjoy
the sound of the horse and carriage and darker skys thanks to my neighbors.
I see a thin line between science and the arts. I am empowered by both.
I observe the sky with my NexStar 8, large binos, and Starry Night Pro software.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I cannot beleive we are alone. I hope that we or any civilization advanced
enough to reach the stars will have evolved to point of repecting all forms of life. I suspect we will be found.
2. I'm undecided about rushing to be found.
3. I'm happy to participate in my own small way by runing the Seti@home program all the time. I feel we have gone too far with this programm to turn back.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
