1) Yes, there are others out there. I believe they look like us, and we will discover them when "we grow up". The benefits are clearly the loss of arogance and selfishness. The Dangers? Only the ones we pose to ourselves.
2)Not sure. I think "they" will find us. I cannot believe we are the only ones trying.
3)I use SETI@home for various reasons. I suppose the main reason is the same one used throughout our Universe, .. curiousity. |
