| I am 30 years old and currently reside in Norfolk Virginia. I am in the U.S. Navy. I work on Airborne SONAR for the H60 aircraft. I am a big kid, I just love my video games. I like reading science fiction, fantasy, and science magizines like Discover and Popular Science. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I believe it highly likely that ET exists. I believe that Humans would probably not benefit from any encounter with ET whether or not ET is benevolent. I don't believe we are mature enough as a species (imagine what Bin Lahden would do with the opportunity). That said, I still want to meet them:) I do not believe we should send a beacon for ET. Chances are if they are within 107 lightyears of us , as of 2002, they allready know we are here and probably will not wait on a proper greeting from us. I would hate to think that all the time I am away from my computer is wasted, so that is one reason i run the SETI@home program. Like I said earlier, I would like to meet them. Finaly I would like to know what ET TV show makes ET laugh:) |
