Hi. I´m Christian Dowideit (oh, funny name for german speaking people) from Siegburg / Germany. Siegburg is a little nice town in the near of Cologne (hhm, delicious beer !). I´m married with the best wife in the world (it´s only my personal opinion !) and have two little daughters. I stopped working in my company (something with computers) at the moment of the birth of my first daughter. Since then I take care of my daughter(s), my wife, our house and all the other things, that makes life worth living for.
First time I saw the screen saver at a friend I thought: Hey, what a funny graphic tool ! Then my friend told me something more about it. You should know that I´m a fan of Star Treck and I even love Jodie Fosters film "Contact". So - one day later - I was online an downloading the Seti@home util. |

I think that ET is definitly out there ! And if she/he/it is in reachable distance and intelligent then sooner or later a signal of this extraterrestrian lifeform will reach the earth. If this happens in 1 month, in 1 Year, in 10.000 Years - it doesn´t matter. My chance is to help finding such kind of signal - and to tell my daughters to look at all the beautiful and unexpected things in the great universe. And to this universe belongs ourworld too !
