My name is Rich Fleeman. I live in Colorado in the USA. I am 29 years old and work for a rather large computer manufacturer / services provider. My hobbies include pretty much anything computer related.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) I think to assume we are the only living beings in the universe is pretty arrogant. I do think that ETI exist. I dont really know if we will ever discover ETI but I hope that when we do I will be alive. I think the benefits of this discovery would be countless actually.
2) I do not know if we should transmitt a beacon. If we do it might make the search that much easier.
3) I run seti because I believe in the mission of trying to locate ETI. I am proud to help out and hopefully will decipher information to help with the SETI mission! Thank you for this Opportunity.
