I am a 3 grade computer engineering student in Bilkent,Turkey. The reason that I interested in Seti Project is both related to my way of thinking about the universe and also related to how computers used in the system(the power of computation when the components are distributed over million of computers).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I strongly believed that there exist extraterrestrial life. Because otherwise the universe is so big for only us. Beyond that in one day in the future I believe that we can able to find them. But the system we are using cuurent day may not be sufficient enough to find them. If we considered that we had recently discovered the radio waves(compared that the time that the human being exists our discovery of the radio waves is very new). So I believed that we may able to find new methods if we can not find them with the current technology, I hope...
