Personal background
Hi! My name is Les. I live in central Massachusetts. I am 34 years old. I am a buyer for a company that forges parts, primarily for the aerospace industry. I own a telescope and I enjoy using it to study details on the moon's surface. I am happy to be a part of the SETI "team".
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I am sure extraterrestrial life exist. Humans will discover its existence in the next 30 years. The benefits could be cures for a variety of diseases and other advances for mankind. The danger could too rapid an advance for mankind.

2. Yes humans should transmit a beacon for others to find. We should send information about our species, our location in the solar system, and our intentions if they return contact.

3. I run SETI@home because I want to know that I had even a small part in discovering ET life, when we do find it. The project is very ambitious and hopefully does not stop until it succeeds. No real suggestions, I just hope everyone involved at UBC and all the SETI@home users out there keep up the good work!!
